About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
A 1903 American Foursquare working as a commercial office — brick chimney up the middle, cupola on top, and a century of paint layers gone flat and faded. The building needed its whole exterior, the soffits, and both porches handled without shutting the practice down.
OUR APPROACH
Peel Bond primer went over the aged siding first, the right call when a building has this many layers of history underneath. The body was finished in a two-tone scheme — olive green on the main walls with a lighter sage skirt — and the soffits, porch columns, and railings picked out in cream. Both porches were painted deck to ceiling. All of it in SuperPaint over that bonded base, with the office open through the whole project.
