GREAT experience with Hilltop Painting. They painted our entire house and replaced wood fascia along the outer edge of our roof. This was quite a large-scale project involving skilled carpentry as well as paint application. From beginning to end, Hilltop's service was top-notch. Having never had a house painted before, watching their process was an interesting learning experience. The power-wash was followed by extra-careful taping, sealing, caulking, fascia construction/replacement and paint preparations. After that, the overall base paint was applied. And following that, the trim and touch-ups. The foreman and his team were friendly, approachable and efficient. Every step produced high-quality and superb workmanship. Excellent communication everywhere, from the main office to the project site. Best of all, Hilltop did not go overbudget and completed the project on time. Great work, guys! Hilltop Painting to the rescue! I am thrilled with everything about this company. I am a real estate agent and have a listing in Bellingham, out of my normal service area. We needed full interior painting asap, in June none-the-less, the busiest time of year for painters for exterior painting. I knew this was going to be difficult to find. I searched on Google and Hilltop was the top of the heap in reviews so I called them first. Lucky for me, rain was forecast for the next 5 days and they could fit me in. (You can’t paint outside in the rain.) Yes, lucky lucky me! From the moment I met Daniel I knew I was in excellent hands. His crew started less than 2 days later and were finished up within 3 days. It wasn’t the easiest job with two story ceilings but the end results were fantastic! My seller was happy with the price as well. I can’t thank you enough Daniel (and your thoughtful, sweet crew!). They listened to what I wanted and they made recommendations and explained the job and the best paints. The crew who did the painting were great. Daniel from Hilltop painting was our Project mananger and he was fantastic. Great communication, and happy to answer all my questions. They were able to start very quickly. There was a mix up in the paint but that was quickly taken care of and Daniel was extremely apologetic. The crew was careful and diligent. We had a plaster ceiling that needed to be repaired- we had many holes and cracking in the paint. They sanded it down repaired the holes. They had to sand it down many times and many coats of paint but the cracking came back. No fault of Hilltop. They did an amazing job and took a lot of time trying to fix it, but we think there was some water damage in the past causing this. Daniel was super apologetic again and took a small amount off our invoice because they weren’t able to fully remedy the problem. I would 1000% use them again. They are super easy to work with and care very much about their customer satisfaction. I will be using them in the future for all our painting projects.

We are so fortunate to find Daniel and Hilltop Painting! We had a project with a very narrow window with short start time frame for a complete interior repaint. Daniel was extremely professional and gave us a very thorough and fair estimate. The workers were very professional, very clean, and respectful of our home. The quality of the painting was superb - no overspray or marks noticeable and floors were treated with care. The clean up was also great - all materials removed and it was as if they were never there! Highly recommend and will definitely call again for next project.
Hilltop Painting provided expert ideas about our kitchen cabinet restoration and paint colors! They also painted our interior walls and baseboards. The team worked hard and efficiently. We had Hilltop paint the interior of our rental house. From the first communication with Daniel, they were responsive, prompt, and professional. Once they did a walk through and prepared a quote, they explained everything. There were some bold colors that needed painted over, and repairs that needed to be made in the ceiling. It also has high vaulted ceilings and skylights. Hilltop did a professional job. We are happy with how fresh and new the entire house looks. Communication throughout the entire project was always prompt. Hilltop did a great job and would highly recommend them.

Hilltop Painting did an excellent job painting our house and deck railing. They were knowledgeable about the products they were using and had good recommendations on how to handle our deck railing that the prior owner had painted (and was peeling horribly). And when they were done, they did a walk through so I could point out anything that needed attention (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). They completed all the things I pointed out. We had some trim that needed replacing and they had a handyman do that. I wasn't 100% pleased with it, so they had the handyman come back out and fix it. All the neighbors keep complimenting our house too. I can't recommend Hilltop Painting enough!

Hilltop was outstanding to work with - Daniel was incredibly responsive, they did our interior walls and kitchen cabinet painting project on time (actually it was done early) and on budget, the quality of the work was excellent, and the places where we had requests for little fixes were taken care of literally the next day. Their crews were there 7 am to 7 pm a lot of days, often even weekends. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Hilltop Painting stained underneath my new deck pergola. I made the mistake of not making sure that my new pergola was made with pressure-treated wood and it began showing signs of black mold within three months of installation. Hilltop cleaned and stained it to match the house color. It turned out absolutely beautiful. Hilltop also re-caulked the entire exterior of my house where needed and repainted a large section of the south side. They did a fantastic job of color-matching. I will definitely be hiring Hilltop again for any future projects.

The men that were here working, were very pleasant and I would certainly do this whole thing again I would suggest that you call hilltop painting with any help painting that you want done. Daniel was great to work with, prompt in his communication & patient with us when “we” (HOA of condos) took longer to decide than a standard homeowner. The platform they use for quotes removes access to it after 30 days so we had to ask for an extension to be able to review. They were able to paint the building w/in a few weeks, main delay being a typical PNW early fall wind/rain storm. We were using the same color of paint as previous. But there is no obvious signs of over spray or missed areas. There was a fair amount of rot repair we needed to add onto the bid & it was a reasonable fee. There was some minor disruption to the flower beds around the property, nature of the business when using ladders. Nothing significant, a few shrub branches (small). I bet it will be all good by the spring. Again, nature of the work. I do not feel they were caress. I would use them again on future projects. I did not interact with the persons who were doing the labor in site, but I also did not receive negative feedback from other owners/tenants.
My experience was great! They worked quick and even added an extra door to painting when we had miscommunication on my end.

I can't say enough good things about Hilltop Painting! We discussed our project with a number of companies and received a crazy range of quotes, from $20k to $130k. We found out later that the least expensive option didn't include trim repair or the proper equipment to tackle our slope. Hilltop was a mid-range quote, but they repaired rotted trim, had the equipment and experience to manage our property, and they addressed all of our issues. Our estimator, Daniel, was always pleasant and quick to respond.

A few qualities I found working with Hilltop was their flexibility, reliability and patience. I asked for a modification from the bid for the entire house to a bid for just the trim, gutters and soffits. Daniel was very responsive and I found the bids for both were reasonable, midrange of bids I got. From start to finish, they did what they said they would do, and it appears they did it well. As someone else said, Daniel helped with advice when he was asked for it. I’m very glad I went with Hilltop.

Daniel gave us a reasonable estimate, and thoroughly explained how the preparation and painting would be done.
