What Our Customers Say
They painted the kitchen and the hallway in our Bellingham house. Looks like a new house.
The Hilltop Team is amazing and did a great job on our full exterior paint job on our house. We couldn’t be happier! Carlos also did an excellent job painting our deck. Highly recommend.
They painted my interior in bellingham. They were timely and efficient, and we got my house sold. Highly recommended Hilltop Painting!
Hilltop Painting sprayed our oak kitchen cabinets white and I still can’t believe it’s the same kitchen. They took the doors off to spray, masked everything in the kitchen, and we were only without doors for about a week. The finish is smooth and no brush marks. Daniel came by at the end to go over everything with us.
Communication has been excellent. Easy of hiring, excellent. Confidence in crew and work performed, excellent. As a Realtor who works with a lot of painters I’ve been thrilled to have found a partner in Whatcom County for all my future listings.
The owner was very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Hilltop!
These guys were pros from start to finish! We found Hilltop to be very professional and easy to communicate with. And when we had an issue with final minor finish work, Daniel came out and fixed it himself. Thank you all - our house looks great! We would definitely call them again for future work.
Daniel and the crew did excellent work on our home painting the exterior. Great to work with and prompt responses every time we reached out with a question.
Daniel was very professional and made sure all concerns and questions were handled quickly and effectively. He is truly an expert. The finished product is gorgeous. Walls, doors, and trim.
We had a fantastic experience with Hilltop Painting. The crew was very professional, thorough, and they did an excellent job. We felt like we were in good hands every step of the way. They completely transformed the exterior of our home, and the results are beautiful.
This is the best crew I have worked with. They are fast, professional, courteous, meticulous, and generally fun to have around. We also enjoyed working with Daniel and the Hilltop office. The end product is stunning.
After gathering four separate bids for our exterior house painting, we decided to go with Hilltop Painting—and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Daniel, Carlos, and the entire team delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. What really set Hilltop apart was their exceptional communication and attention to detail. The painters, Juan and Beto, did a fantastic job with the prep and painting work. They kept us informed every step of the way, made sure we were completely satisfied with the progress, and answered all of our questions promptly. Whenever we had a broader question about the project, Daniel and Carlos responded right away. Their professionalism made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable. The final result is absolutely beautiful, and we highly recommend Hilltop Painting to anyone looking for skilled, courteous, and dependable professionals!
Hilltop painters did a fabulous job transforming my house into a new home. They worked really skillfully and hard. Good prep work made for beautifully results. I am so pleased with the results and highly recommend this Company.
I am satisfied with the painting work done by Hilltop. They recently finished repainting the exterior of my home, including the doors and soffits. The crew was friendly, diligent, and experienced. I confidently recommend them to others.
The crew was skilled and had an eye for detail. I recommend this service.
My experience with Hilltop Painting was the best. The painting crew was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They paid close attention to detail. Overall, they did an excellent job. I had a lot of questions and Sebastian was there for me every step of the way.
GREAT experience with Hilltop Painting. They painted our entire house and replaced wood fascia along the outer edge of our roof. This was quite a large-scale project involving skilled carpentry as well as paint application. From beginning to end, Hilltop's service was top-notch. Having never had a house painted before, watching their process was an interesting learning experience. The power-wash was followed by extra-careful taping, sealing, caulking, fascia construction/replacement and paint preparations. After that, the overall base paint was applied. And following that, the trim and touch-ups. The foreman and his team were friendly, approachable and efficient. Every step produced high-quality and superb workmanship. Excellent communication everywhere, from the main office to the project site. Best of all, Hilltop did not go overbudget and completed the project on time. Great work, guys! I highly recommend Hilltop Painting!
Hilltop Painting showed up on time and did a great job. They were thorough and paid attention to the necessary details. I highly recommend them!
I had an outstanding experience with Hilltop Painting! From the initial estimate to the finished project, everything was handled professionally. The bid was fair, and my project was scheduled within a very reasonable timeframe. Carlito and Maria were exceptional. From the power washing to the meticulous detail and trim work, they were incredibly thorough and took great pride in every step of the job. Their attention to detail was outstanding. They were friendly, professional, and hardworking, completing the project efficiently without ever cutting corners. It was clear they cared about doing the job right, and the quality of their work shows in every detail. My house looks beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Hilltop Painting, especially Carlito and Maria, to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship, fair pricing, and a painting crew that truly cares about their work.
I was the mortgage broker / lender on the transaction The bid was very competitive and Daniel knew exactly which painting product to use and specifically why that product would work best for our clients exterior siding. They started and finished exactly as promised. Great communication with Daniel.
Very pleased with Hilltop from the initial meeting with Daniel, the process of painting with Joel and Mike, and final inspection with Daniel. I really appreciate the professional, respectful, reliable, knowledgeable interactions with all. These guys not only told me that they want me to be happy with their work, but they showed me by their actions. I’m a bit picky and want the job done right; when I wanted to change a few details, Joel was always accommodating and helpful. They went beyond my expectations and I am so happy with how great my home looks now!! AND the price was very fair. Big thanks to Hilltop Painting 🥰
Sebastian and his hands on crew at Hilltop did a wonderful job painting the exterior of our house. Courteous, professional and knew what they were doing every step of the way. They have made our house look just like new again. I would definitely use them, and recommend them to others. Thank you
Hilltop's work is exceptional. You know you're getting the job done right by honestly a wonderful guy and crew. Definitely reach out if you're wanting a great paint job.
Phillip was very efficient & thorough in painting my house! Fair pricing & job done 1-2 days right on schedule. He even brought treats for my dog. Highly recommended Hilltop Painting for your home painting needs! 5 Stars
Hard workers and easy to communicate with.
The crew was great! Very detailed oriented and conscientious. Very high quality work. Daniel was great as well - good communication and responsiveness. All around great experience!
Hilltop has done an Awesome job !!!!!! The people are great!!!!!! Will recommend your company to other people !!!! All around FANTASIC Job!!!
Extremely excellent crew and fantastic work. Hilltop has been a pleasure always on top of the top doing a fantastic job painting our house.
Hilltop Painting to the rescue! I am thrilled with everything about this company. I am a real estate agent and have a listing in Bellingham, out of my normal service area. We needed full interior painting asap, in June none-the-less, the busiest time of year for painters for exterior painting. I knew this was going to be difficult to find. I searched on Google and Hilltop was the top of the heap in reviews so I called them first. Lucky for me, rain was forecast for the next 5 days and they could fit me in. (You can’t paint outside in the rain.) Yes, lucky lucky me! From the moment I met Daniel I knew I was in excellent hands. His crew started less than 2 days later and were finished up within 3 days. It wasn’t the easiest job with two story ceilings but the end results were fantastic! My seller was happy with the price as well. I can’t thank you enough Daniel (and your thoughtful, sweet crew!). Best professional painting experience I have had in 20+ years in the business. Thank you Hilltop! 5 stars all the way around! Kathi
Excellent work!! Carlos and Maria were meticulous and extremely detail oriented. We love the result. Highly recommend.
When I called Hilltop Painting Daniel came out and walked thru the entire project and explain everything on detail. The whole crew was super nice and they listened to my requests. I enjoyed working with Hilltop Painting.
Excellent service from Hilltop Painting. From initial contact and bid with Daniel, to paint crew led by Ramon, my home was in good hands. Communication is clear, and repairs and finished paint job is exceptional. Great attention to detail and a pleasant crew. Highly recommend.
I love the colors of the house that hilltop painting did. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a painter.
From start to finish, Hilltop did a great job with our external house painting project. Fine attention to detail was paid and we're very happy with the final result
Excellent craftsmanship and follow-through from start to finish.
We had a great experience with Hilltop painting! They do an excellent job preparing the house by cleaning, sanding and caulking wherever needed. A special shout-out to Mat, who was detail oriented and wanted to make sure we were happy with the results!
Hilltop painting did a real great job for us. Their workers. Mat and Joelle came early in the morning and stayed late at night to finish a job that was done to perfection. We will give them a five star rating every time. Good job guys thanks again.
Good workers, very nice and informative. Job done on time and looks great! Would highly recommend.
Good job by the entire team here. Very professional and high quality.
We had a very good experience with Hilltop Painting. They were efficient, hard working and performed everything we expected.
Hilltop team was efficient, skilled, timely and excellent with communication - great job!
We are so impressed with our recent exterior house painting project performed by Hilltop Painting. From our initial contact with Daniel to the final walk through they exceeded our expectations. Alejandro and his crew were efficient, hard working, and paid attention to every detail. Our house looks amazing. We highly recommend Hilltop Painting to anyone looking for an exceptional painting contractor.
Joel and Mathew did a great job on our house. Very hard workers at a fair price!
Great crew that worked hard to fix a mess left by another contractor
Reasonable pricing and time line. Professional and courteous crew. Happy with the results!
Sebastian and his crew from Hilltop painting did a great job repairing and painting the exterior of my house & lawn shed. They were hard- working and efficient. Very professional!
Hilltop painting was great to work with. They scheduled an appointment very soon after I reached out to them. They listened to what I wanted and they made recommendations and explained the job and the best paints. The crew who did the painting were great. They were polite, let me know what they were doing in the process, answered any of my questions, and did a great job painting. The crew cleaned up very well when they were finished. My house looks like a new house. I am very happy with the painting.
Daniel with Hilltop was very easy to work with. They accommodated our short-notice timeline, provides additional quotes when rot was found, and were incredibly respectful on the job site.
Knowledgeable and thorough Polite and cooperative Willing to make last minute changes Easily accessible Quiet workers, not loud and boisterous It looks great! Very pleased with the job
The crew was very prompt, courteous, efficient and detail oriented. They even painted the letters on the building! The building looks terrific and we are extremely happy with the work. We highly recommend Hilltop Painting.
Daniel and his crew lead Sergio were very knowledgeable and efficient! They helped me learn more about the type of paint that would be best for me, having used Sherwin Williams and they have many types/grades of paint. They did their work quickly and they kept things clean! Thank you for a great paint job, Hilltop!
Daniel from Hilltop painting was our Project mananger and he was fantastic. Great communication, and happy to answer all my questions. They were able to start very quickly. There was a mix up in the paint but that was quickly taken care of and Daniel was extremely apologetic. The crew was careful and diligent. We had a plaster ceiling that needed to be repaired- we had many holes and cracking in the paint. They sanded it down repaired the holes. They had to sand it down many times and many coats of paint but the cracking came back. No fault of Hilltop. They did an amazing job and took a lot of time trying to fix it, but we think there was some water damage in the past causing this. Daniel was super apologetic again and took a small amount off our invoice because they weren’t able to fully remedy the problem. I would 1000% use them again. They are super easy to work with and care very much about their customer satisfaction. I will be using them in the future for all our painting projects.
Hilltop Painting exceeded every expectation we had. From start to finish, they were organized, professional, and truly committed to delivering a flawless result. Daniel and Joel were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, always keeping us informed and making sure every detail was handled with care. What really stood out was their attention to quality and timing, they even waited to complete final touch-ups until after our new carpets were installed to ensure there was no damage from the removal and installation process. That level of thoughtfulness and pride in their work is rare and deeply appreciated. The finished result looks absolutely amazing, and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a painting company that is reliable, detail-oriented, and truly goes above and beyond, I cannot recommend Hilltop Painting enough.
We are so fortunate to find Daniel and Hilltop Painting! We had a project with a very narrow window with short start time frame for a complete interior repaint. Daniel was extremely professional and gave us a very thorough and fair estimate. The workers were very professional, very clean, and respectful of our home. The quality of the painting was superb - no overspray or marks noticeable and floors were treated with care. The clean up was also great - all materials removed and it was as if they were never there! Highly recommend and will definitely call again for next project.
Hilltop Painting provided expert ideas about our kitchen cabinet restoration and paint colors! They also painted our interior walls and baseboards. The team worked hard and efficiently. It was really nice that they asked us several times if we were satisfied with their work. When touch ups were needed , they were very responsive. As work progressed, they were able to accommodate our request for additional baseboard & trim painting in 3 bedrooms All work was excellent! We feel like we are living in a new house!
We had Hilltop paint the interior of our rental house. From the first communication with Daniel, they were responsive, prompt, and professional. Once they did a walk through and prepared a quote, they explained everything. There were some bold colors that needed painted over, and repairs that needed to be made in the ceiling. It also has high vaulted ceilings and skylights. Hilltop did a professional job. We are happy with how fresh and new the entire house looks. Communication throughout the entire project was always prompt. Hilltop did a great job and would highly recommend them.
Daniel and the Hilltop team were top notch. Pricing was competitive and work was high quality. 10/10 would recommend
Hilltop painting did an amazing job on my very large(whole wall) bookcase. It was a huge endeavor with many shelves and drawers and with many sandings, primer coats and top coats. I am very happy with this job. Daniel was prompt to respond to my requests and questions and very good about communication every day. "Joel" has a great work ethic and attention to detail and I'm very pleased to recommend this company for your painting needs. Well done!
Lead painter on our job was Andrey. He was 10 out of 10.
Hilltop and Andres team was top notch. They were professional, efficient and walked us through the process day by day. We had eight different colors in the interior of our home and they transformed it within a week and had a quick quote to finish turn around. Highly recommend and will be going back to them for our exterior.
Hilltop Painting did an excellent job painting our house and deck railing. They were knowledgeable about the products they were using and had good recommendations on how to handle our deck railing that the prior owner had painted (and was peeling horribly). And when they were done, they did a walk through so I could point out anything that needed attention (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). They completed all the things I pointed out. We had some trim that needed replacing and they had a handyman do that. I wasn't 100% pleased with it, so they had the handyman come back out and fix it. All the neighbors keep complimenting our house too. I can't recommend Hilltop Painting enough!
Daniel painted my office building and did a great job! Getting lots of compliments He helped me choose the right colors and it looks fantastic!!
The Hilltop Painting crew was excellent in completing my exterior paint job. They gave knowledgeable recommendations, completed work on time, communicated well, were considerate, and budget friendly.
Daniel is great to work with we really appreciated his time and effort to ensure that everything was perfect. Our home in Bellingham looks amazing again!
Good price and the crew was really great. Thanks for that quick job I know it’s the busy season 👍
Hilltop Painting did a fantastic job painting my house. They were professional and detail oriented. I would recommend them to anyone. I’ll be using them again in the future!
Hilltop painting, LLC did an outstanding job on our project. Not only did they complete the exterior painting with great attention to detail, but they also replace and repair the exterior siding, given our building a completely refreshed look. The workmanship was excellent, and the project was completed on time. They've also maintained clear and consistent communication, which made everything run smoothly. I truly appreciate their professionalism, reliability, and dedication to getting the job done right. I highly recommend Hilltop painting, LLC to anyone looking for high quality exterior work and a team you can trust.
We recently hired Hilltop Painting to paint our home, and the entire experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Daniel was incredibly patient and kind while we were choosing colors—he never rushed us and really took the time to understand the look we were going for. His guidance made the whole process feel much less overwhelming. Carlos, who did the painting, was fast, efficient, and incredibly tidy. Not only was the work done beautifully, but he also left no mess behind—something we really appreciated. We got a lower quote from another company that seemed like a great deal at first, but after speaking with them and reading the reviews, we knew Hilltop was the better choice. The team was respectful, stayed on schedule, and delivered exactly what we hoped for—crisp lines, smooth finishes, and beautiful results. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hilltop Painting and will definitely call them again for future projects!
We were super happy with our exterior painting job. Daniel was willing to work with our budget and was communicative throughout the process. Carlos was professional, polite, efficient, and detailed. Overall a great and easy experience.
I was so happy with the results of hilltop's work and the painter, Carlos, was great. They treated me very good. I'm a 74 year old woman who gets a lot of prejudice because of my age and with hilltop that never took place.
Daniel and his team are true professionals, consistently delivering top-quality work. Carlos, in particular, demonstrates exceptional skill with both the sprayer and the brush—his expertise really stands out. Thank you again! Jim
Great service, great result, and completed the job quickly.
Hilltop was outstanding to work with - Daniel was incredibly responsive, they did our interior walls and kitchen cabinet painting project on time (actually it was done early) and on budget, the quality of the work was excellent, and the places where we had requests for little fixes were taken care of literally the next day. Their crews were there 7 am to 7 pm a lot of days, often even weekends. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Love the results. What a change! Was a great quality job and very reasonable price. Very good attention to detail.
Hired these guys to do a quick exterior project and they were on top of it. Communication was on point, and they provided great work at the end. Very happy with Hilltop.
Good teamwork-great results. Hope to get them back for another project.
Hilltop Painting stained underneath my new deck pergola. I made the mistake of not making sure that my new pergola was made with pressure-treated wood and it began showing signs of black mold within three months of installation. Hilltop cleaned and stained it to match the house color. It turned out absolutely beautiful. Hilltop also re-caulked the entire exterior of my house where needed and repainted a large section of the south side. They did a fantastic job of color-matching. I will definitely be hiring Hilltop again for any future projects.
I just want to say that this experience was wonderful. It was easily done. I was very happy. The men that were here working, were very pleasant and I would certainly do this whole thing again I would suggest that you call hilltop painting with any help painting that you want done. I love the look of my new cabinets painted at my Bellingham house. Thank you so much for helping me out!
Daniel was great to work with, prompt in his communication & patient with us when “we” (HOA of condos) took longer to decide than a standard homeowner. The platform they use for quotes removes access to it after 30 days so we had to ask for an extension to be able to review. They were able to paint the building w/in a few weeks, main delay being a typical PNW early fall wind/rain storm. We were using the same color of paint as previous. But there is no obvious signs of over spray or missed areas. There was a fair amount of rot repair we needed to add onto the bid & it was a reasonable fee. There was some minor disruption to the flower beds around the property, nature of the business when using ladders. Nothing significant, a few shrub branches (small). I bet it will be all good by the spring. Again, nature of the work. I do not feel they were caress. I would use them again on future projects. I did not interact with the persons who were doing the labor in site, but I also did not receive negative feedback from other owners/tenants.
My experience was great! They worked quick and even added an extra door to painting when we had miscommunication on my end.
I can't say enough good things about Hilltop Painting! We discussed our project with a number of companies and received a crazy range of quotes, from $20k to $130k. We found out later that the least expensive option didn't include trim repair or the proper equipment to tackle our slope. Hilltop was a mid-range quote, but they repaired rotted trim, had the equipment and experience to manage our property, and they addressed all of our issues. Our estimator, Daniel, was always pleasant and quick to respond.
We are very happy with the quality of work and responsiveness we received from Hilltop painting the exterior of our home. Carlos and Maria did an amazing paint job and were very easy to work with. Everything was left clean and tidy when they finished.
Hilltop Painting was fast, courteous, and skillful. I’m very happy with the end results.
Daniel’s crew did a great job painting our home. We have a large two story home that required a lot of high ladder work. The painters worked with great energy and effort and made our house look new again. The cost was fair with no extra charges. Thanks Hilltop. I would definitely use them again
Outstanding job well done by Hilltop. They were fast and efficient, went above and beyond to finish the paint job in shortest time possible. Impressed by this company. Fully recommend.
A few qualities I found working with Hilltop was their flexibility, reliability and patience. I asked for a modification from the bid for the entire house to a bid for just the trim, gutters and soffits. Daniel was very responsive and I found the bids for both were reasonable, midrange of bids I got. From start to finish, they did what they said they would do, and it appears they did it well. As someone else said, Daniel helped with advice when he was asked for it. I’m very glad I went with Hilltop.
We had the outside of our home painted by a very professional crew. They showed up on time, worked efficiently and finished the job. They also resolved problems well and cleaned up the property before they left. The house looks great!
We had a few glitches in communication in the beginning. But Dan was on the job and worked them out. I am really happy with the work and care that painters Darlin n Danelle put into making my house look great. Three days n it was done to perfection.
A great job all-around. Very happy with the entire process. Accurate, timely estimates. They did what they promised. Good, friendly crew.
Hilltop painted 4 large accent walls in our new home, quality professional work, at a fair price
Hilltop just finished painting our house exterior, and we are very happy we chose them to do the job. Daniel gave us a reasonable estimate, and thoroughly explained how the preparation and painting would be done. He got us on the schedule quickly, and Luis and crew showed up on time and worked every day until the job was complete. Their attention to detail was great, and they also replaced some window wood trim. Daniel also helped by giving some advice on the color choices. We are thrilled with the result, and highly recommend Hilltop!
Thank you for your honesty could not be happier with your company. You are awesome!!

This is a fantastic company, they did a great job painting my house! Great prices and very good work I would highly recommend this company!
One of the most professional companies I’ve ever dealt with. They completely transformed my house with just paint at my Bellingham house! Daniel is a great communicator & educator. He really did a great job breaking down on what needs to be done and why it needs to be done. These guys are the real deal and I will hire them soon for my exterior in Bellingham. Great people!
This his who you want for all your future construction projects very professional, very cooperative. They are full of good employees and are very invested with providing me the best possible product within the budget. All around great deal and service. Thank you Hiltop!
Excellent 👌 job. Tons of follow through on job
Outstanding job!
Respectful, efficient, and a high level of quality! From cleaning our home, to finishing was three days. Every part of dealing with Hilltop was a pleasure. And the employees were very friendly.
Hilltop did a fantastic job of painting all of our trim and sofets on our 1901 craftsman.
Very happy with my house exterior. I got 4 other quotes, and Hilltop's was the most reasonable and included the most features. They squeezed in my paint job earlier than expected and had all the work done in no time. Communication was excellent, and they were very patient and courteous. Highly recommend.
I am so pleased with the paint job on my home. Carlitos is awesome. I love how he painted the trim. He truly has a good eye for bringing out the architecture of the house. I would definitely recommend him.
Hilltop did a fantastic job and was very responsive to all questions. Their prices were very fair and comparable to all others in the area. I would highly recommend Hilltop Painting if you are looking for a great exterior painting experience.
Great experience with Hilltop - they are professional, responsive, and completed the job quicker than expected and it looks great!

Asked for a bid. They are fast and thorough. Will explain everything to you and will not lead you in a wrong direction
Hilltop Painting was excellent in delivering a timely and professional job in painting the exterior of our two-story house. They showed up on time every day and were focused to finish in a timely manner. Options were explained where woodwork needed to be replaced before painting. Very nice and helpful people throughout the whole process! Highly recommended!

Punctual, competitive pricing, & great to work with I found Hilltop Painting via Instagram and loved seeing their pictures and videos. I received many quotes from different contractors for painting the exterior of my house and Hilltop's pricing and availability worked wonderfully for us! Hilltop Painting was punctual starting at 8AM every morning, The team of painters were nice and respectful.

Just one word “wow” The whole process was seem less . I’m very picky but Hilltop painting fulfilled every request. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for quality work at a great price.
