Bellingham Stucco Bungalow in SW 9130 Evergreen Fog with a Midnight Door
About This Project
Stucco asks different questions than lap siding — its texture drinks paint, telegraphs every patch, and the old pale mint on this Bellingham bungalow had gone flat and dated against the red brick porch columns. The owners wanted a modern, cohesive scheme that kept the bungalow's character: tapered porch posts, exposed rafter tails, and all.
We wrapped the stucco body in Evergreen Fog, working the color into the texture for full, even coverage, and painted the brick column bases to match so the tapered Greek Villa posts read as one clean line from porch floor to beam. Trim, soffits, and rafter tails went bright in Greek Villa, the front and back doors got a moody Midnight — a deep plum-charcoal that makes the entry the focal point — and the porch and steps were finished in Classic French Gray for a durable, grounded base.
